Terms of Service

1. Description of Service

resuFresh is an AI-powered career platform that analyzes your resume against a job description and generates tailored outputs including resume rewrites, cover letters, ATS analysis, interview preparation questions, LinkedIn content, and company research summaries. The service is provided "as is" and outputs are generated by AI — they should be reviewed and edited before use.

Max plan subscribers and active Day Pass holders also have access to three additional AI tools: the AI Mock Interview, which lets you practice with a live AI interviewer and receive a performance report scored across 20 dimensions; the Interview Coach, which provides AI-generated coaching on interviews you have already completed; and the AI Career Advisor, which helps you discover career paths that fit your skills or plan a strategic career switch. The AI Mock Interview feature optionally records video and audio locally in your browser. resuFresh does not transmit, store, or retain any recordings on its servers. Recordings exist solely in your browser's memory for the duration of your session. At the end of a session you may download the recordings or save them to your on-device practice library (stored in your browser's storage on that device only — see Section 5); if you do neither, they are permanently deleted when you leave the page. Recording is opt-in and can be disabled at any time before starting an interview.

resuFresh also offers free tools: the ATS Resume Checker (no account required) and free interview practice (two free sessions without an account; a free account afterwards). Content you submit to these tools is processed in memory to generate your results and is not stored. All provisions of these terms — including the Acceptable Use and AI-Generated Content sections — apply equally to the free tools. Free educational resources on the site (resume examples, cover letter examples, templates, and blog articles) are general guidance, may be AI-assisted, and are not professional career, legal, or hiring advice.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use resuFresh only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• ✕Use the service to generate false or misleading information about yourself
• ✕Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• ✕Use automated tools to make bulk requests beyond normal usage
• ✕Share your login credentials with others
• ✕Use the service to harm, deceive, or defraud potential employers

3. AI-Generated Content

resuFresh uses AI to generate resume content, cover letters, and other career materials. You acknowledge that:

• ▸AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or hallucinations
• ▸You are solely responsible for reviewing all outputs before submitting them to employers
• ▸resuFresh does not guarantee that AI outputs will result in job interviews or offers
• ▸You own all rights to content you input and to the outputs generated from your inputs

4. Subscription & Billing

resuFresh offers the following plans:

• Free:1 free analysis at no charge, no credit card required
• Day Pass — $9 one-time:24 hours of full access to all 9 tools — resume tailoring, cover letter, ATS score, interview prep, LinkedIn optimization, company research, AI mock interview, interview coaching, and career advisor. One-time purchase; not a subscription, does not auto-renew. After 24 hours, access reverts to the free tier and you may purchase another Day Pass or subscribe.
• Pro — $17.99/month or $79/year:Unlimited analyses, cover letters, LinkedIn optimization, and ATS analysis
• Max — $19.99/month or $99/year:Everything in Pro plus AI Mock Interview (live scoring, optional local video recording), Interview Coach (AI debrief on completed interviews), and AI Career Advisor (career fit discovery and career switch planning)

Pro and Max subscriptions are billed through Stripe on the interval you select at checkout — monthly subscriptions renew each month, and annual subscriptions renew each year. resuFresh never stores your card details — all payment information is handled securely by Stripe. You may cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings.

The Day Pass is a one-time purchase that activates 24 hours of full access beginning from the moment of payment. It is not a subscription, does not auto-renew, and you will not be billed again. Because access begins immediately upon purchase, a Day Pass is non-refundable once your 24-hour window has begun. If a technical issue prevented you from using your Day Pass, contact help@resufresh.com and we will make it right.

48-Hour Refund Guarantee (One Per Account)

If you cancel a subscription within 48 hours of its start and you have not previously used this guarantee, you will receive a full refund automatically — no questions asked, no emails required, no forms to fill out. The refund is processed immediately upon cancellation and will typically appear on your original payment method within 2–5 business days (most Visa/Mastercard refunds appear within 1–2 business days). This 48-hour refund guarantee applies once per account lifetime and does not reset upon resubscription — once a refund has been issued on your account, no subsequent subscription or reactivation is eligible for a refund under this guarantee. This guarantee applies to Pro and Max subscription plans only and does not extend to Day Pass purchases. Day Pass refunds are governed solely by the Day Pass refund policy described above.

After the 48-hour window, no refund is issued except in cases of billing error or where required by law. Upon cancellation, your account is locked immediately, but your saved data is retained for 30 days after your current billing period ends. You may reactivate at any time during this window; reactivating before your billing period ends incurs no additional charge. If you reactivate after the billing period ends, standard billing resumes on the plan and interval you select. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at help@resufresh.com within 7 days and we will review it promptly.

5. Max Plan & Day Pass AI Tools

Max plan subscribers and active Day Pass holders have access to the AI Mock Interview, Interview Coach, and AI Career Advisor features. All AI-generated outputs from these tools — including interview coaching, performance reports, career match recommendations, and career switch plans — are generated by AI and should be treated as guidance only. resuFresh does not guarantee any particular career or employment outcome. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on these outputs.

Local Video & Audio Recording (AI Mock Interview)

The AI Mock Interview feature includes an optional local recording capability. By enabling this feature, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• ▸Recording is disabled by default — you must opt in before starting an interview session.
• ▸Your device's camera and microphone are accessed solely to capture the local recording. You will be prompted by your browser to grant permission.
• ▸Recordings are processed and stored entirely within your browser. No video or audio data is ever uploaded to or retained by resuFresh servers.
• ▸At the end of a session you may download your recordings, or save them to the on-device practice library — browser storage on that device only, viewable at /practice-library. If you do neither, the recording is permanently deleted when you leave the page.
• ▸The practice library is not a backup service: it exists only in that browser on that device, is not synced or recoverable by resuFresh, and may be removed if you clear browsing data or your device reclaims storage. Download any recording you cannot afford to lose.
• ▸You are solely responsible for complying with any applicable laws regarding the recording of yourself, including any jurisdiction-specific consent requirements.
• ▸resuFresh bears no liability for any recording that is lost due to browser limitations, device failure, or failure to download before leaving the page.

6. Intellectual Property

resuFresh and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by resuFresh and are protected by copyright. You retain ownership of the content you input. You are free to use the generated outputs for personal job applications without restriction.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

resuFresh is provided "as is" without any warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular output will achieve a desired outcome. Career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, resuFresh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of employment opportunities.

9. Eligibility & Termination

You must be at least 13 years old to use resuFresh. By using the service, you confirm you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may terminate your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at help@resufresh.com.

Inactive accounts are deleted automatically along with their saved data: free accounts that never upgrade to a paid plan are deleted 30 days after account creation, and promotional-access accounts that do not upgrade are deleted 30 days after the promotional access ends. Cancelled subscriber data retention is described in Section 4.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will note the revision date at the top of this page.

11. Data Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected users promptly via email — within 72 hours of becoming aware of the incident where possible — in accordance with applicable US state laws. Notification will include the nature of the breach, what data was affected, and steps being taken to address it.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States. Any disputes arising from your use of resuFresh will be resolved under Nevada jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
